False scientific research is currently being distributed world wide, describing the formation of SCP-0000-1 instances as natural phenomena.

An RBLR1 telescope has been constructed by Foundation engineers, and is being used to track and record SCP-0000. Replacement parts are to always be stored within Site-64, the location of the telescope.

Description: SCP-0000 is a sentient, extraterrestrial entity of indeterminate size. SCP-0000 appears to be purely made of dense, black gas, which is believed to act as a form of camouflage.

SCP-0000-1 instances are the extinquised, radon-bleached remains of stars, following an SCP-0000-1 event. SCP-0000-1 instances are typically cracked and/or missing large portions of rock, due to the bursting of radiation bubbles. (View Addendum 0000.1 for more details)
